We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand new 42 mile route!

Do something amazing in 2019 and take on this epic two wheeled challenge from Birmingham to Coventry* on traffic-free roads. Riders of all abilities aged 16 years and over are welcome… and road bikes and lycra aren’t compulsory!

The 42 mile route is the perfect introduction to riding in a big closed road cycling event and is a great way to gain confidence in your cycling ability in a welcoming and friendly environment. We hope that for many it will act as a stepping stone to one day taking on our 100 mile challenge!

Starting in the heart of Birmingham city centre, the 42-mile route will weave its way through the beautiful West Midlands countryside on route to the heart of Coventry – the European City of Sport 2019 – where you will cross the finish line on University Square in the shadow of the historic Coventry Cathedral.

The safe, high quality event experience is exactly the same as our 100-mile route; the only difference is you don’t have to ride as far! Once you’ve crossed the finish line, you’ll be able to enjoy an afternoon of celebrations in Coventry and re-fuel at the famous Coventry Food Festival.

Please note – 2019 entries are now closed

*Please note this is a point-to-point ride and participants are responsible for arranging their own way home after they’ve finished in Coventry. For more info, please visit our FAQs section.
